Crosslee Plc is one of Europe’s largest tumble dryer manufacturers and a leading producer of hostess trolleys, fuel effect gas and electric fires based in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

We are currently looking for additional staff on a temporary basis during our busy season. Depending upon the needs of the business, candidates may have the opportunity for extended temporary employment or offered permanent employment. Candidates may also have the opportunity to progress into quality, maintenance, engineering and design procurements etc. The work is light to medium manufacturing work and will involve the manufacture and assembly of tumble dryers

We welcome both male and female candidates.

There is a good level of fitness required as the work can be physically demanding at times.

An intermediate level of spoken English is essential.

Working 32 hours per week Summer Season
Working 43 hours per week Winter Season

Starting rate of pay is £5.90per hour (under review) plus a bonus for full attendance of £135.00 per month

Uniform will be provided with training given to Company procedures.

We require an Apprentice Trained Toolmaker. In this role you will be tasked with using your skills and experience to repair our Tools, and to improve Reliability and Component Quality.

The Toolmaker is also responsible for modifying existing tools and manufacturing new ones.

To be considered for this role, you must have machining experience in Turning, Milling, Cylindrical Grinding, Form & Surface Grinding. Knowledge of Wire Cutting & EDM Spark Erosion would also be an advantage.

CLEANERS (2 positions available)

We are looking to appoint two full time cleaners working split shifts over five days. The vacancies are offered on a temporary to permanent basis.

Job duties will be general cleaning tasks in the offices/factory.

The ideal candidates will have a good understanding of the standards that are required for a cleaning role.
